"Currently, there is no Australian Standard specifically for Lithium-Ion battery fires. Our 45L Lithium-ION Fire Solution wheeled-type fire extinguishers comply with the Australian Standard AS 4265. Firebox Australia has conducted multiple tests on Lithium-Ion battery fires.
The scope of Global-Mark certification does not include lithium-ion batteries.
We will continue actively participating as a member of FPA Australia Tac 3/7 and the special Lithium-Ion fire extinguisher workshop in developing a new standard for Lithium-Ion batteries."
